Just curious what others think might be the best way forward for the soon to be former Steward Health hospitals. Likely would need to be acquired by a well-capitalized competitor. It doesn’t seem as though there’s a logical place for them in the MGB or BI-Lahey systems. UMass? I’d imagine they probably have similarly lower costs but can still offer the clout and legitimacy of a teaching hospital.
